To a Nephrologist: What is the prognosis of a young and healthy person with papillary necrosis? -

How does this happen to a quot;healthyquot; person who doesn t abuse any drugs, doesn t have sickle cell anemia, hypertension, diabetes etc. It seems to have been caught in the early stages, can you shed any light on the prognosis, in your opinion. Thank you.
