Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that live in your intestinal tract... they shouldn t have any direct effect on respiratory function, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, etc. They help with digestion, absorption of nutrients, and keeping you regular. However, when your digestive tract is working properly, it can positively impact your immune system, which can help with some of those ailments.... but there are many other herbs that can more directly impact and benefit you for those ailments.
We can use them for all manner of diseases, but for most, you would only be flushing your money down the toilet. They have a benefit with intestinal troubles, but not with many of the others on your list.
