Is it sour? -

im thinking of buying some grape juice for my future mother in law because i heard that it has been good for hypertension, it says that it lowers the blood pressure. is it true? how does it taste like? is it sour ? i want to know how it tastes because my mother in law is not used to drinking sour juices. how much does it cost and is it worth buying it for her?

Supposedly there is some evidence that grape juice brings down blood pressure. It certainly can t hurt. Have you never had grape juice? Believe me, your MIL will probably like it. Kids love it! It s very sweet and tasty. If she doesn t like it for some reason, I m sure she will appreciate the thought behind it. It doesn t cost much at all -- a couple of bucks maybe and you can get it at any grocery store. Is it worth it? I think so. If it doesn t help her blood pressure, at least it will help her to know that you are a kind and thoughtful person.

I would say it isn t sour because I have never tasted grape juice.

Its sweet - very sweet. Its also not very effective at treating high blood pressure. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is good for hypertension, but a change of diet alone is not enough to lower blood pressure to a safe level for most people. Price wise - here in detroit its about 3-4$ (depending on brand) for a 64oz bottle (almost 2 liters) Its rather delicious - though I add water because it is too sweet for me.

it can be it taste like a grape ever tasted a grape

generally grape juice is sweet it is a favorite kids drink and generally in expensive

Grape juice is good; and has more potassium, but it is stronger than apple juice. Hope I helped.

It depends on what kind of grape juice you get her. Some are sweet and some are tart. Red (or dark) grape juice tends to be sweeter and white tends to be more tart. It s not very expensive and you can buy it at your grocery store in the juice aisle. Just look for something that says quot; Not from concentrate.quot; Don t get concentrated juice, since it s made from quot;concentratedquot; grapes and then remixed with water or other juices to save money. As for grape juice helping hypertension, I ve never heard of that. The only thing I ve heard of that definitely works is medication or weight loss.

grape juice taste like the grape. green grapes are more tart. red/purple grapes are sweeter. she can purchase the juice herself for less than $2 in any grocery store.
