What kind illness depletes potassium and magnesium? -

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have hypertension and getational diabetes. i would like to know if there are anyy illnesses that make these critcally low. if you have any ideas please let me know.

I dont know if they create magnesium and potassium def., but I know diabetes of any kind can block absorption of good carbohydrates and cause the baby to not get enough nutrients.

Kidney diseses. But I would say it s probably somethng related to the pregnancy and will go away as you give birth
