the first week it was like a normal period, then it went for a few days, then i got it again but it didnt feel like a proper period, it was like blood at first but for the last week it s been like greyish brown and some bits like stringy lunps in it. i have abdominal pain but a bit lower than i usually get period cramps. i m 23 and on istin 10 for hypertension,(i ve had high blood pressure since i was 13 so it s nothing new) i have implanon in but it s been in since jan 2003, i ve told my doc twice about the implant but she hasn t done anything yet. i m just wondering is this normal? is it a period? what do i do?
doctor.. straight away.. i would have gone already...
my mum had this same problem and it caused her to be anemic which is so dangerous for your body. i would be going to a new dr. my mum didnt do anything about it for so long and now she has to have iron injections. are you on the pill or anything like that? you need to control your period. and maybe take iron supplements.
One like that once in a while isn t anything to worry about, if it gets to be more frequent, talk to your doctor.
