High Platelets and Longer clotting Clotting time? -

Hi. A person is diagnosed with Cellulititis. The person has a history of Hypertension and Diabetes. Lab results show that the person has high platelets but still has Coagulopathy- Takes longer time for the blood to clot. I am puzzled.What could be the reason. Please help. Thanks

apart from platelet count one vital factor called prothrombin time(PT) plays main role in deciding cloting time pl check for PT and INR value.
