Viagra is a class of phophodiesterase inhibitor, also known as a vasodilator. it is cautioned in patients with cardiovascular conditions including hypertension. the reason being it may cause rebound tachycardia (fast heart rate) which will in turn increase your blood pressure and lead to vascular complications. viagra also causes other side effects such as flushing of the face, headache and a condition known as priapism. this can cause gangrene and necrosis of penile tissue leading to permanent erectile dysfunction. hope this helped...:)
joe m ... the guy just told you he has diabetes, DUH...sometimes diabetics cannot get an erection or sustain one for very long! If your taking meds for Hypertension and take viagra, you will have to be careful, maybe the doctor might suggest 1/2 tablet at first to see how you go.....you might suffer dizzy spells!
Well, my husband is 39 a diabetic and has cyalis for his ED issue, The doctor didnt have any problem perscribing it to him and gave him the choice between cyalis or viagra. So i dont see why not. Call the doc and get a script. And as for side effects.....who cares as long as the little guy perks up and starts working???? LOL

If at 34 your very young to be experencing ED as well as hypertension. It is important that you understand why this is happening be it physical or emotional can find a different corrective action.
Consult a doctor (and don t rely on online quacks you get on Yahoo).
