What age group is the most affected by hypertension of high blood pressure? -

The risk of developing hypertension increases with increasing age. If you’re a male older than 45 or a female older than 55, your risk for hypertension is higher. Over half of all Americans aged 60 and older have hypertension. This means that the older you are, the more likely you are also to suffer the consequences of hypertension.
