What can help in breathing problems due to hypertension? -

i m a pilot and when a passenger or a copilot get s tht prob the best way is to modulate the breathing rate and try to calm down by tying to relax and doing smthing tht will get ur mind off the tension. i kn ow its easier said than done but if u remember this stuff it will help u.

lay in bed with the music on....try not to think about stress....and just relax. do not focus on breathing because that only makes it worse. i also find that having a small fan next to your bed helps because it gets air circulation going. i have the same problem. took me forever to find a solution.

first bring down the BP with antihypertensives, then take a diuretic (like lasix), bronchodilators, ace inhibitors

When I cannot breathe due to combination of my high blood pressure, asthma, allergies or just anxiety, I get into my hot tub for 15 minutes or so. The relief is almost immediate. My breathing rate slows and I have more oxygenated blood and am able to get full breaths through the nose and mouth.
