What is the normal range of blood hypertension pressure for a man of 46 years old? -

Check http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/medicine...

120/80

130/85-90

This is a question that I have been looking up for years. There does not seem to a set answer. The more I looked and asked the more confused I got. I am a little older than you and at 56 I was told by my doctor that it should be no higher than 150 over 90. I was well within that level but everyone I talked to seemed to be a lot lower. Because of my family medical history I decided a couple of years ago to change my diet. I am not vegetarian but I cut out eating red meat all together because I always felt lethargic and tired. I cut out all chicken because of the cruelty involved in breeding them. I don t eat eggs very often. I eat oily fish, low fat milk and only use extra virgin olive oil. I also use pro-biotic spreads and drinks. I eat a lot of fruit and probably not enough vegetables. The result is I have lost weight, feel a lot livelier, don t get the digestive problems I used to have. My blood pressure is lower, cholesterol level is 3.9. This is just a start and does not guarantee I ll live any longer but I am happier with myself. There is an old joke that says giving up smoking, drinking and sex doesn t mean you ll live longer just that it seems like it.
