Whats the difference between high blood pressure and hypertension? -

There is no difference between the two terminologies. Both mean the same that describe high levels of the systolic and diastolic values after a blood pressure reading was taken. I hope this helped you know about these two terminologies.

There s no difference--both terms means the same thing. See this website for more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypertensio...

High blood pressure is the layman s term for the clinical term hypertension, and can be used interchangably.

They are both the same thing - one is a medical term and the other layman s term.
