Advise me on herbs and vitamins that help reduce blood pressure (hypertension)? -

I am newly on prescribed low dosage medication and wish to reduce hypertension naturally (mild hypertension) diagnosed. Rather than the prescription path.

there is an egyptian drink made of flowers petal of plant called hibscus subdorifa. it is believed to reduce BP safetly, and its very common in egypt as a cold soft drink.

You should talk to your doctor about natural hebs, some can be dangerous and even fatal.

The most important thing to do besides medication is extra exercise, less stress, less salt and sugar, less coffee, less red meat. Sounds like fun huh? I have had high blood pressure at 35 years old. these things are the only things that worked for me. Don t start off with strenuous exercise.

First of all, You should ask a doctor that is a specialist for this question. If the person eats less and gets moderate exercise that person will have lower blood pressure. Forget these things.. soda, candy, junk food, greasy food, and especially fried food. Drink alot of water. Water cleans up all the sludge in the body that creates high blood pressure. Use less salt in your food. Keep salt to a bare minimum. If you can avoid it all then that is even better. High blood pressure is also caused by stress. The person should take walks in the park where it is cool and relaxing. The person can also swim in their pool if they have access to one. Loud stupid rap or other crazy music must be thrown in the trash where it belongs. Classical music is a very relaxing mood enhancer. Good luck!!!

Here is another alternative for you. Conventional doctors mean well, but they re only good if they also give you natural alternatives like a Naturopath would.

I agree about herbs and natural cures being dangerous and even fatal. This is your blood pressure. Your heart and every other organ are affected. I was diagnosed last year. I was devastated thinking I was to young and I didn t want to be on medicine the rest of my life. In the end I found a medicine that worked great for me with no side effects and as a bonus I haven t had a migraine since. Also, drink more water.
