Nosebleed--hypertension or weather? -

have had two this week, controlled quickly. bp is 140/92 ( yes, i know that is marginally high). so are my bleeds most likely caused by the weather or could the bp be a factor?

If you are in a COLD climate, then it is most probably due to weather. Cold also mean a relatively dry humidity. This causes the nasal passages to dry out, and nose bleeds occur. Try a saline nasal spray to keep things moisturized. The high blood pressure doesn t help . . . . .

Probably weather. My hubbies blood pressure runs high also and he rarely gets nose bleeds. Cold air is dry and will dry out your nasal and sinus passages which makes you prone to getting nosebleeds. Also if you take a lot of aspirin it acts as a blood thinner and can cause nosebleeds too.

Well since no most people on the internet don t personally know you or are doctors it would be safe to say most likely it can be the climate your blood pressure is slightly high so that means no real possibility stands for your heart not to function

B/P unlikely cause. Cold weather climate? Try using a humidifier in your home.
