Stage 3 hypertension is almost worst case of HTN you can have. No medication is worth that. No doctor should put in that position. That is ridiculous. If this is a true question see a new physician.

It depends on what the treatment was for in the first place. Sometimes it is worth it, sometimes it isn t. That s a very personal choice.
