can you have both hypertension AND hypotension?

Yes. Your diastolic could be high or low, and your systolic could be the opposite. This condition usually comes shortly before a life threatening cardiac event, i.e. a heart attack.

Yes, but not at the same time, hypertension means high blood pressure, and hypotension means low blood pressure, you cannot have them both at the same time.

No. Because hyper means your blood pressure is high and hypo means your blood pressure is low. Never seen somebody have both.
