no way
Oh no, you are never too old. She can definitely benefit from dieting and weight loss. Walking around the block would be a good exercise to start with. She should eat lean meats, lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, nuts and beans.
Just don t do anything drastic that would mess with her medicications. Lots of veggies! :)
no its not to late she can walk at least a mile thats what my grandparents do
It s never too late to get healthy and fit. Tell her to go for it! That s so awesome.
No, never. I would recommend you have her see a nutritionist to help her, to help work with her health issues amp; a weight loss plan at the same time.
You can never be to old to diet.
Simple answer No .... if the person wanting to diet feels they not to or has to for health reason no.
No not at all. My nan was in her early seventies when the doctor told her lose weight or you ll be dead in six months. God s honest truth she is 100 years old today!!!! You are never too old to be healthy. Good luck to your mum!
idk talk to someone
Its never too late to eat healthy, she should just start by changing some of her eating habits that are bad, not dieting, it never works....
One should always eat a healthy diet. Why would she be too old to do anything she wants to do? Excellent idea! There is no time like the present! Especially now, that we are going into spring, it will be easier for her to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Don t you dare discourage her! Best of luck to your mom and count your blessings that she is young at heart and in her mind. And remember, You only become old when you stop learning.
That is very dangerous especially with the diabetes she could go into metabolic acidosis and then a coma, consult with an endocrinologist. The best thing for her would be to take it slow and improve her diet and exercise daily.
no, but she might want to find a healthy plan. I know weight watchers has worked for me. it is not really a diet its a healthy life style and their guidelines are set up by the American, Heart, Diabetes and Cancer society.
No, you are never to old to diet but at that age many people don t feel it is worth it and are tired of trying. But because she has diabetes she should loose weight because it will help her to control her sugar better.
I think when you get to be 105 years old, you are too old to diet. You mom would benefit greatly from diet and exercise. 63 is in no way too old to diet. The exercise that should come along with dieting would help her to reduce her dependency on insulin (if it is type 2 diabetes) and would help her reduce her blood pressure (eventually). I think it would be very smart of her to start a diet/exercise regiment.
No you are never too old. She will just have to watch how she goes about her diet.
she should talk to her doctor about it. She can start by eating fruits, vegetables, don t eat potatoes, rice, flour (white), keep carbohydrates low. ALSO, go to aoa.gov to get information on a healthy diet:)
