What causes adrenal gland retaining too much sodium in the body? -

It s the most common problem of high BP in 1/4 population and not all family s members have hypertension from this, so is it pathological disease? thanks.

The body may be releasing too much of the hormone Aldosterone. Aldosterone causes sodium reabsorption throughout the body, and since kidneys are our bodies filtering systems, the reabsorption takes place there. There may just be a hormonal imbalance, which should be checked out by a doctor too. I m only offering one possibility, so there may be more.
