How do beta-clockers insrease cardiac output? -

My professor said that if the person has hypertension for example, you can give them beta blocker and it will decrease their bp and hrt and will increase cardiac output. That doesn t make sense bc cardiac output= stroke vol x hrt rate

Beta blockers decrease the heart rate and allow the ventricles to fill more completely thus increasing the output. They also decrease the systemic vascular resistance(Bp) so the ventricle will empty more completely.

Beta - Adrenaline production is what the beta blocker blocks. While doing the 1500 meters beta adrenaline is useful. While lying in bed at rest it just turns ones hart into a lump of vibrating jelly. So preventing this (AF) increases the out put and lowers the blood pressure.
