How can we make more people aware of a rare, orphan disease such as Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension? -

Pulmonary hypertension is a rare blood vessel disorder of the lung in which the pressure in the pulmonary artery (the blood vessel that leads from the heart to the lungs) rises above normal levels and may become life threatening. Symptoms of pulmonary hypertension include shortness of breath with minimal exertion, fatigue, chest pain, dizzy spells and fainting. Go to my page- or my wife s story at- http://www.phassociation.org/Our_Journey...

I think the best way to make more people aware of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension is by educating others, speaking with our doctors, attending seminars, alerting the media, etc. PAH is a serious disease that often gets overlooked and misdiagnosed since it mimics many other illnesses. So more awareness is definitely needed!
