Hypertension or pain? 51/Male...I have a seriously painful boil on my thigh that has become infected.? -

The question is I have a slight headache and feel dizzy so i checked my blood pressure. Last night it was 188/120 and after I took my Diovan HCT it went down to 160/100. This morning my leg is extremely painful and my BP is 140/102. can the high diastolic be caused by the pain I m in?

Why dont you try seeing a doctor...

A boil is an infection and if topical treatment (washing, antibiotic creams, hot water soaks, etc...) isn t working should be looked at by a doctor. You are obviously not taking your RX regularly. Even 160/100 is too high. If BP meds are not working to keep BP down see your doctor about that as well.

pain will cause your b.p. to go up but you still need to see a doctor
