Can potasium and magnesium reduce hypertension? -

what other things can be used to reduce hypertension?

Potasium / Magnesium are a good supplement if you tend to get cramps due to drinking a lot of water. I don t think they will do anything for hypertension.

Magnesium does have the capability to lower blood pressure when given intravenously, and this is a beneficial effect when used for laboring patients with preeclampsia. Other than that, there are hundreds if not thousands of blood pressure medicines on the market.

Magnesium is a ingnightable substance, and potassium can destroy living tissue, or react violently with water. I dont think it would.
