Is lack of sleep a contributory factor to hypertension? -

Yes, in many cases it may be a contributory factor! But at the same time it is not that all hypertensives suffer from lack of sleep!!

Yes, lack of sleep.... Causes stress..... causes vaso constriction. Something to help you sleep may impact your health dramatically. There are many things to help sleep that are non- narcotic like benadryl and seriquil at low doses.

It can not cause hypertension but it can make it worse. Lack of sleep has been found to make almost every health problem worse.

more likely being hypertensive does not let you sleep!

it can -follow up with your doctor.
