What tissues can be effected by hypertension? -

hypertension can cause renal (kidney) disease and kidney failure, hemorrhage (bleed) in the brain, hypertrophy (enlargement) of the heart, heart failure, retinal damage, and pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs). It can also contribute to atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and development of aortic aneurysms.
