Is there anything wrong with eating healthy every day? -

I live with two other girl roomates. All they do is say I eat too healthy and blah blah blah. And quot;oh you re so skinny!quot; I weigh 140 5 6 size ! But I have a heart condition and been diagnosed with malignant hypertension. So my diet consists of Oatmeal, almonds, whole grain breads, veggies, fruits, yogurts, chicken, lean beef, turkey, fish. I eat out on occasion. They think I m a freak! Its very uncomfortable for me to continue living with them because all they do is point out quot;are you on a diet?quot; blah blah. What to do?

Tell them that they re stupid twats and that you ll have the last laugh when you re out running marathons and having fun while they re dealing with heart disease and high blood pressure. Did you explain to them that you have a medical condition that could cause serious complications if you don t watch your diet? What you eat is none of their business anyway. Tell them to grow up and get a life.

NO!! why would there be anything wrong with eating healthy. your body is happy, your happy.

Underneath the kidding you about it, they re probably a bit jealous of 1 ~ that your not overweight and 2 ~ that they don t understand or know how to eat healthy... Have you told them that it s for medical reasons? My whole family eats pretty healthy as my husband (their dad) had a triple by pass at the age of 39 and has dealt with heart disease ever since.... Most young people do not realise the importance of healthy eating untill it affects them in some way, but sometimes that s too late..........

Just the OPPOSITE........ You should be eating quot;Churches Chickenquot;, and Deep-Fryed Pigs Feet, Menudo, boiled eggs and Chili, Pizza, Jack Daniels, with a Banana Float quot;Chaserquot;..........Thats just the appetizer !!

There s definitely nothing wrong with eating healthy. I give you much props for doing so because it s not that easy trying to get into eating that way after eating junk for so long. Don t worry about what other people say about your eating habits. Just know that you re taking care of yourself and doing what s best for you. You ll benefit from it in the long wrong.

Ignore them. Malignant hypertension is a problem that people of color struggle with and to not take responsibilty by eating right is increasing not only uncontrollable hypertension, but diabetes, kidney failure, and heart disease with risk of numerous strokes. Luther Van Dross died with it and the complications of numerous strokes, and you are being very responsible by taking these steps to make sure your health is not compromised by a bad diet.

There s nothing wrong and everything right with what you are doing. You have legitimate reasons for watching what you eat so carefully. It sounds like your room mates are not very considerate friends if they are trying to intimidate you into eating things that could harm your health. It sounds like it might be time to start looking for more compatible and empathetic roommates.

I think you re at an ideal weight for your height. Just ignore them, there is nothing wrong with eating healthy. Just think you will be alive when they have a heart attack from eating junk. Have a good one! :o)

There is nothing wrong with eating healthy!! its great for your body, keeps you healthy!! They just feel guilty that they dont treat thier bodys as well as you do!! Keep up the good work!! treat your body good!! its the only one you got :)

You;re not a twig, you are at a healthy weight. Just ignore them. I take it that they re big girls. I m big too, but there s nothing wrong with what you eat, in fact I wish I had enough discipline to eat like that. I d have a rockin body if I did.

If this is a diet that is required for you by your doctor, than stick with it. Would you rather die or have obnoxious room mates? Even if this does not concern your health, it is still good to eat right. You can give yourself some sweets once in a while, but don t go gorging in them! If your room mates are acting like this, then tell them that is just how you eat or observe their diet.

There is nothing wrong about eating healthy it s good for you! eating healthy reduces your chances of getting cancer, diabetes, heart attacks, strokes and more. Don t listen to your friends they don t know what they re saying.

ok well in 5 years when you are smoking hot and have a rich boyfriend you can point and laugh at them because they will all be fat out of shape losers.

Your friends are retarded. They are so retarded I would classify them as R-tarded. The next time they bug you look at them and say,quot;You are talking to a ghost. Have you forgot? I died because you put all this stress on me instead of just being a friend.quot;

Hey! its absolutely great you eat healthy i think you should keep eating that way. your average size to.

get da hell out of there and tell em f u c k what dey think.....ya diggg

i m sure everyone else has said this, but just ignore it. you re doing it for your health, and that is wayyy more important than someone s opinion of you. plus, they are probably jealous of your commitment and discipline to be able to do that. it s hard i know. i ve been trying to do it for a few weeks now, but it s so hard in the dorms! good luck!

Tell them to shut it. Eating healthy everyday should be a law.

excuse me? you said heart condition? honey forget what your roommates are saying... it s a matter of life and death. amp; you re making a smart choice, why are you even giving their nonsense a second thought?

NO, NO AND NO! YOU ARE FORTUNATE YOU CAN EAT HEALTHY EVERYDAY, CAUSE IT CAN GET EXPENSIVE. MOVE OUT AND GET SOME NEW ROOMATES. WHAT GOOD IS EATING HEALTHY, IF YOUR LIVING WITH NEGATIVE PEOPLE. THE LATTER SOUNDS WORSE THEN EATING BAD.

Move out girl...as long as your healthy, do what you do.

There is nothing wrong with eating healthy, but do realize that eating healthy also means consuming a certain amount of fats and carbs as well. It you are concerned about your eating habits then perhaps you should visit a nutritionist. As for your room mates, you have two options. 1. get new room mates/move out or 2. confront them. People are going to point out that you don t eat the same, I know because I have similar eating habits. Sometimes you just have to roll with the punches and let them spit into the wind.

just go with the pyramid * Make smart choices from every food group. * Find your balance between food and physical activity. * Get the most nutrition out of your calories. * Stay within your daily calorie needs. http://www.mypyramid.gov/

no there isnt its just not fun for some people

they are saying that because they are probably fat bitches

GOOD for you!! If you can do it and be happy.. do not let their negativity get to you. they could be jealous, would they be happier if you were guzzling beers, and porking out on twinkies? next time they comment, ask them what THEY think is a healthy diet ..
