Can high blood pressure cause seizures?? -

Hi, my friends little boy who is 2 got rushed to hospital on tues after having a seizure. He has suffered with hypertension since birth! just wondered if this is a cause as have not managed to speak to my friend as she is in hospital and only got told this morning! he is such a sweet little boy and i hope he will be ok thanks xx

Yes Hun high blood pressure can cause seizures. So can a high temperature(febrile convulsion) though in babies and toddlers. So if he s been poorly with a cold etc it could bring a seizure on. I hope he s OK x
