Atenolol is a beta blocker. Usually used for HTN, but also used for angina (chest pain) and for prophylative treatment for migraine headaches. Can t think of any other uses.
it s sometimes used to help control angina (chest pain), but it s just a beta blocker, it won t give any anesthetic effect. If you are having headaches or pains related to high blood pressure, it might help.
