Systolic Reading Of 113 Is that too low? -

I have just taken my Fathers BP it was 113 over 80 He is on medication for Hypertension But I think a reading of 113 is too low. I would be grateful for some advice

It is not too low.you should be happy that diastolic which is more important is 80.If your father is feeling very weak due to systolic being on slightly lower side,increase protein contant in his diet.I feel he is well controlled with this medication.

A BP of 120/80 is regarded as normal and acceptable but lower down to 90/60 is much better. Below 90/60 could be low BP. Above 140/90 is too high and needs treatment.
