Can a neck rub highten blood pressure? -

one night my dad had a stiff neck and i kinda massaged his neck a little bit to relieve the pain, he suddenly turned red and said he wasn t feeling well, his chest constricted. he has a history of hypertension and is already on thin ice. i m guilty for what i did, am i supposed to be?

No you are not supposed to feel guilty , The stiff neck may well have been caused by angina ! the constricted chest supports this . I think your father should have gone to an ER ASAP !!. He should definately also go to see his GP and get a referral to see a cardiologist ! Cheers Pete
