Can someone please help me with this? -

Hi I have a really important question. How many mg s of salt a day should a person with hypertension eat? Also, is it true that if a person with hypertension drinks a lot of water it will raise their blood pressure? Thank you

someone with hypertension should avoid salt, if at all possible. as for water, i could not tell you about. i have never heard this

Well a person with high blood pressure should only have 2300 mg of sodium a day. One teaspoon of salt has about 2300 mgs of sodium. i hope that helps.. No.. i dont think so.. i would ask a doctor though
