What is the importance of diet and exercise ? -

To hypertension and diabetes

Well balanced meals give the body the proper fuel to function correctly. Meals should have a colorful variety of fruits and vegetables, lean meats and whole grain starches. Snacks should be fruits. The majority of nutrients come from fruits and vegetables. Exercise helps the cardiovascular system, which in turns keeps the body running smoothly. 30 minutes of walking, running, aerobics, biking or some other activity per day, 4 days a week is good. As one gets older, incorporating a weightlifting program is needed to make the body denser, which will increase the metabolism. Both are significant deterrents for high blood pressure and diabetes.

Diet is important so your body can stay healthy and clean. Exercise is good for the body because it really takes the stress out of your daily life. It also enhances the digestive system so it can work properly and distribute the nutrition you feed your body properly. Exercise is important so your physique will stay in shape, being over weight is not healthy at all. It makes you tired and also your body keeps telling you that you need more food to keep up the weight, all your doing is feeding your body more food so it can gain more weight. It may be routine, but so is eating, sleeping, laundry, car washing, cleaning the house, etc. going to work is all routine. It is just like feeding your mind with intelligence, and working it to keep it in shape also.
