I need help! Can anyone answer this question? -

Why shouldnt you palpate both carotoid arteries at the same time? A. You cant assess the pulse accurately unless you palpate the arteries one at a time B. You may cause transient hypertension C. Youll impair cerebral blood flow and function D. You may cause severe tachycardia Please only serious answers, I have to know

Most definately C. Putting pressure impairs the blood flow to the brain- if you wind up putting pressure on both arteries at the same time, you will pass out due to cutting off the circulation.

It s C.

C I believe.Look it up on Google.

It s C, you may make the person pass out because their brains don t get any blood. Are you in the middle of taking a test or something? Don t let the teacher see you SMSing!
