How can i conquer my fear of heat? -

it was 06 january this year when i first encountered my first hypertension problem. im a 53 yr old asian, single and living alone in a townhouse. was rushed to a nearby hospital and given a medicine to be dissolved underneath my toungue. well and good, after a few minutes my BP normalized to 120/80 from 160/90. took norvasc 5mg for 10 consecutive days and everythings back to normal. should i go on taking maintenance everyday? i changed a lot like living a healthy lifestyle, doing some exercises daily and avoiding foods like processed foods, sodium, cheese etc. quit smoking and sleeping early. last two months ago while riding my motorbike around 11 am i felt like my back was so hot i cant help but took a shower. it took me only about 20 minutes biking under the sun and now the phobia still remains. i dont feel good everytime i walk under the sun. hope i can get some help from you guys. thanks for your time.....

G is right some medicines do create a hypersensitivity to sun and heat. Talk to your Pharmacist as they know more about the side effects then the doctors do in many cases.

I d recommend to limit the exposure and gradually increase it over time as you overcome the phobia.

are you on any medications now? a lot of medications make you overly sensitive to the sun. i would thoroughly research anything you were on for underlying side effects.

this sounds like a very hard and critical situation and i would reccomend you to go and ask a proffesional doctor to give u advice as of where to go or what to do.

THE SUN IS NOT A MONSTER!! I live in colorado and it reached 115 this summer. It is ok just control how often u are in the sun and hot places.
